Addressing the media, he said building a bridge connecting Sri Lanka and India might be harmful to Sri Lanka, as the country is still faced with many issues.
“Even though India has a developed economy compared to other countries, they also have certain internal political issues. There are issues of livelihood for the majority of the people in the country,” he said.
