CAA conducts islandwide raids on errant traders | Sri Lanka News


The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) yesterday conducted 151 raids on errant traders including 51 raids on those who sold eggs exceeding the controlled price.

The CAA has conducted some 1,250 raids throughout the country so far under a special programme to nab errant traders in view of the festive season.

The Authority said raids are being conducted everyday including on holidays and special teams have been assigned for the purpose. (Ajith Siriwardana)
