Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP A.H.M. Fowzie said today that President Ranil Wickremesinghe is doing a good job, as attested by people in general today.
“One must speak the truth as it is clearly seen that the President is doing a good job. This is not just my personal opinion as it is what people say about Mr. Wickremesinghe,” he said.
However, he dismissed reports about his plans to crossover to the government, “I only spoke the reality and I am not on the fence,” he added.
Mr. Fowzie is the latest SJB MP to speak favourably about the President as some MP including Rajitha Senaratne also made similar remarks on Thursday.(Yohan Perera)
