Some trade union leaders refrain from declaring assets –Labour Minister | Sri Lanka News

Trade union leaders attached to government and semi government organizations have refrained from declaring their assets and liabilities in line with the Assets and Liabilities Act, Labour Minister Manusha Nanayakkara alleged today.

“Trade union leaders are bound to declare assets and liabilities as per the Establishment Code as well,” he said.

Also he said the people should decide whether it is correct to pay salaries to trade union leaders who have not worked a single day for the  last 20 years. (Yohan Perera)
