Ashu Marasinghe reappointed as President’s advisor | Sri Lanka News

Former Presidential advisor Ashu Marasinghe who resigned from his post recently has been re-appointed to the position by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Daily Mirror learns.

When contacted by Daily Mirror, Marasinghe confirmed that he was re-appointed as the Presidential Advisor on Parliamentary affairs.

Marasinghe resigned from his post last month after a controversial video was leaked to the media by SJB Member Hirunika Premachandra, involving him allegedly sexually abusing a pet dog.
