Special police security arrangements during A/L examination | Sri Lanka News


Some 1,625 policemen are to be deployed for security duties for the Advanced Level Examination which is will get underway tomorrow, police said.

They said the police security will be provided to  examination centres, coordination centres, regional and central collection centres, question paper evaluation centres and transportation of other confidential documents.

In addition, police headquarters have instructed officers to pay close attention to the examination centres and provide adequate security through mobile patrolling by the police stations across the country on the days of the examinations.

The Advanced Level examination is scheduled to be held from tomorrow in 2,200 examination centres across the island and 331,709 candidates are expected to face the examination. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
