Another group of 14 Lankan housemaids arrive from Oman | Sri Lanka News

Another group of 14 Sri Lankan housemaids arrived at the Katunayake International Airport this morning after they were deported from Oman.

Six housemaids among them were subjected to various issues in the country and were then kept in the Suraksha detention home, affiliated with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Oman.

Another eight domestic workers who worked were found guilty by the Labor Court and deported.

A SriLankan Airline flight brought the affected women from Oman.

Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau officials have taken steps to send these domestic workers to their homes. (T.K.G. Kapila)
