Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s shares fell over 2.3% in mid-morning trade on Tuesday (08) slipping for the fourth session dragged down by heavy index counters, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.
Main All Share Price Index (ASPI) fell 2.38% or 201.89 points to 8,289.91 at 1130 hours.
Most liquid index S&P SL20 lost 2.41% or 62.37 points to 2,523.06.
Market generated a turnover of 576 million rupees.
Top losers were Expolanka, Richard Pieris and Lanka IOC. (Colombo/Nov08/2022)
