Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka shares edge down in mid-day trade on Monday (31) pulled down by index heavy shares Expolanka, Royal Ceramics and Lanka IOC.

The main All Share Price Index opened over 1 percent weaker however marginally it recovered. ASPI was down 0.41 percent or 36.15 points to 8,692.45 at 1100hours.

Most liquid index S&P SL20 down 0.68 percent or 18.00 points to 2,624.44.

Market generated a turnover of 562 million rupees.
