Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s main stock index fell in mid-day trade on Friday (28) dragged down by the energy and financial sectors.
The main index moved down 0.24 percent or 21.29 points to 8,780.94 at 1140 hours.
The most liquid indexes fell 0.43 percent or 11.47 points to 2,665.56.
The market generated a turnover of 585.9 million rupees, which is less than the average daily turnover of 3.2 billion rupees generated this year.
