Sri Lanka shares gain 1-pct in mid-morning trade | Sinhala News

Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s shares rose over 1 percent within the first hour of trade on Wednesday (28) continuing the momentum from the previous, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.

The main All Share Price Index (ASPI) gained 1.01 percent or 99.53 points to 9,961.15 at 1100hours.

Most liquid index S&P SL20 gained 0.66 percent or 20.74 points to 3,185.25.

Market generated a turnover of 1.65 billion rupees.

Top gainers were Sampath Bank, Aitken Spence and Ceylon Tobacco Company. (Colombo/Sep28/2022)
