Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s shares fell 0.24 percent in mid-morning trade on Friday (16) crossing the 10,000 points psychological benchmark, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.
The main All Share Price Index edged down 24.06 points to 10,048. 32 at 1145 hours.
On Thursday, the market moved up with the President Ranil WIckremesinghe issuing a gazette allowing casino licenses to be issued for 20-years but the operations are to be conducted in an orderly and platonic manner.

Most liquid S&P SL20 fell 0.58 percent or 18.72 points to 3,233.51.
Market generated a turnover of 4.1 billion rupees.
