Sri Lanka shares shoot up in mid-morning trade | Sinhala News

Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s stocks gained 1.40 percent within the first hour of trade on Monday (12), continuing the gaining streak for three-sessions, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.

The main All Share Price Index rose 1.40 percent or 135.57 points to 9,839.78 at 1140 hours.

Most liquid S&P SL20 index gained 1.31 percent or 40.87 points to 3,172.16.

Market generated a turnover of 2.98 billion rupees.

Top gainers were Royal Ceramics, Lanka IOC and Hayleys. (Colombo/Sept12/2022)
