Only 30 MPs out of 74 have submitted applications and assessment reports to receive full compensation for the houses that were set on fire and destroyed during the violent incidents occurred on May 9th, it was revealed during the meeting of the ruling party members.

Accordingly, the Chief Government Whip Minister Prasanna Ranatunga has informed the group meeting that 44 MPs have not yet submitted their applications.
