State Ministers take oath | Sri Lanka News


The swearing in of State Ministers is currently underway before President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat.

It was reported that more than 30 State Ministers are to be sworn in today.

Sri Lanka Freedom Party Parliamentarians Jagath Pushpakumara, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and Lasantha Alagiyawanna have taken oaths so far as State Ministers before the President

Sworn in State Miisters were; 

Ranjith Siyambalapitiya – State Minister of Finance

Janaka Wakkumbura – State Minister of Provincial Councils, and Local Government

Mohan Priyadarshana De Silva – State Minister of Agriculture 

Lasantha Alagiyawanna – State Minister of Transport

Vijitha Berugoda – State Minister of Piriven Education 

Lohan Ratwatte – State Minister of Plantation Industries

Siripala Gamlath – State Minister of Highways

Shantha Bandara – State Minister of Media

Sanath Nishantha- State Minister of Water Supply 

Indika Anurudhdha – State Minister of Power and Energy

D. B. Herath – State Minister of Livestock Development 

Shasheendra Rajapaksa – State Minister of Irrigation 

Prasanna Ranaweera – State Minister of  Small and Medium Scale Industries

D. V. Chanaka – State Minister of Wildlife and Forest Conservation

Dr. Seetha Arambepola – State Minister of Health
