Sri Lanka stock market extends trading hours by 30 mins  | Sinhala News

Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s stock trading time will be extended by 30 minutes with effect from September 15, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) said in a statement on Thursday.

“The Board of Directors of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), with the consultation of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the stockbroking industry have decided to extend the trading hours from
next Thursday, 15 th September 2022,” the CSE said in a statement.

Accordingly, the pre-open session will be from 09.30 a.m to 10.00 a.m and the trading will start at 10.00 a.m., 30 minutes advanced from the current start. The market closing time will be maintained at 12.30 p.m., the CSE said. (Colombo/Sept08/2022).
