MPs for 09 ministerial consultative committees appointed | Breaking News

Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana, Speaker of Parliament announced to the House today (06) that members for 09 Ministerial consultative committees have been appointed.

Accordingly, Anura Dissanayaka, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, (Dr.) Sarath Weerasekera, Arundika Fernando, (Dr.) Major Pradeep Undugoda have been appointed to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Defence.

Furthermore, Kabir Hashim, (Dr.) Harsha de Silva, Jagath Kumara Sumithraarachchi, M. W. D. Sahan Pradeep Withana, (Prof.) Ranjith Bandara have been appointed to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies.

Tissa Attanayake, Premitha Bandara Tennakoon, K. Kader Masthan, Sivanesathurai Santhirakanthan, Hesha Withanage to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Ports, Shipping and Aviation.

Kabir Hashim, Dilum Amunugama, Kanaka Herath, Ashok Abeysinghe, Lalith Varna Kumara have been appointed to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Transport and Highways.

Moreover, Imthiaz Bakeer Markar, Shantha Bandara, Geetha Samanmale Kumarasinghe, S. M. Marikkar, Sanjeeva Edirimanna are to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Mass Media.

R. M. Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Sivagnanam Shritharan, Udayakantha Gunathilaka, Kulasingam Dhileeban, Upul Mahendra Rajapaksha are to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Agriculture.

Thalatha Athukorala, H. M. M. Harees, Sisira Jayakody, G. G. Ponnambalam, Anupa Pasqual have been appointed to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Justice, Prisons Affairs and Constitutional Reforms.

Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi, Duminda Dissanayake, Kabir Hashim, Nalin Bandara Jayamaha, Nalaka Bandara Kottegoda are to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Power and Energy.

John Seneviratne, Vadivel Suresh, D. B. Herath, Velu Kumar, Jayantha Weerasinghe are to serve in the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Labour and Foreign Employment.
