Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka IMF discussions discussions have been extended for one day and are still ongoing, Mission Chief Peter Bruer said in statement.

“The IMF Mission in Colombo has been extended by one day because discussions are still ongoing with the authorities,” said in statement.

“We plan to conclude the mission and issue a press release on Thursday, September 1st.”

Sri Lanka is trying to reach a staff level agreement with the IMF to negotiate with creditors.
