Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka has extended its multiple-entry tourist visa up to five years to boost repeat tourism, Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando said.
The island currently offers one-year multiple entry visas and single entry visas with a sixth-month stay period.
“Cabinet has approved a 5-year multiple entry tourist visas 6-months stay for 35 countries to help boost repeat tourism in Sri Lanka (sp),” Fernando tweeted on Tuesday August 30.

Sri Lanka earlier offered a digital nomad visa for tourists for up three months targetting travellers who worked long-distance.
Initially, the 30-day visa was priced at 35 dollars for most countries and 20 dollars for SAARC nations.
