Sri lanka News – South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa has said he wants to enhance long-standing ties with Sri Lanka, a statement from Sri Laka’s Foreign Ministry said.

Extending his congratulations and best wishes to Sri Lanka’s President Ranil Wickremesinghe on his recent appointment, Ramaphosa noted that South Africa attaches great importance to its relationship with Sri Lanka, which is underscored by strong bonds of solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding.

The South African President wished President Wickremesinghe good health and reaffirmed his desire to further enhance and consolidate the excellent bond of friendship that currently exists between the two countries.
