Independent parties to form coalition government | Breaking News

National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader MP Wimal Weerawansa said that a new coalition government will be formed by the independent parties in the future.

He expressed these views to the media following a discussion held among the independent party leaders.

He said that the political parties in the country do not seem to be broad-minded enough to make sacrifices for rebuilding the country.

He also accused the President of not having a programme to rebuild the country.

The MP further said that it is impractical to think about an all-party government and that the government is moving forward with the already established administration.

It was reported that unofficial discussions have been held with the displeased members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and members of Samagi Jana Balawegaya in this regard.
