Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka shares gained over 3 percent in mid-day trade on Friday (12) pushed by index heavy counters, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.

The main All Share Price Index moved up 3.58 percent or 311.28 points to 9,017.45 at 1200 hours.

Most liquid index up 4.86 percent or 142.44 points to 3,071.40.

The market generated a turnover of 4.9 billion rupees.

Top gainers – LIOC, Hayleys and Richard ieris. (Colombo/Aug12/2022)
