Violent incident near Parliament Road: Police seek public assistance to identify individuals | Sri Lanka News

Police have sought public assistance to confirm the identity of the individuals who were involved in violent behaviour near Polduwa Roundabout and Parliament Road on July 14.

They said a group of people who behaved in violent manner were identified by analysing video clips.

Police said investigation is underway into the incidents where 26 police and army personnel being attacked, causing damages to public property and stealing weapons of two army soldiers by the protesters in July 14.

Police request public to inform them if they know of whereabouts of these individuals on 071-8592209, 071-3064165, 011-2829388 or 1997 (Hotline).
