Sri lanka News – Yields in Sri Lanka’s risk free treasury bond closed lower and treasury bills remained steady lower on dull trade on Tuesday, while guidance peg on interbank spot trading also remained unchanged, dealers said on Tuesday.

The bond maturing on 01.06.25 closed at 27.90/28.95 percent down from 27.90/27.95 percent at last closing.

The three month T-bill yield closed at 26.30/27.30 percent unchanged from Monday’s close.

A guidance peg announced by Sri Lanka’s central bank for interbank transactions against US dollar remained unchanged at 361.00 rupees against the US dollar on Tuesday.

Commercial banks offered dollars for telegraphic transfers at rates between 368.00 and 370.00 for small transactions on August 2, data showed. (Colombo/ Aug 02/2022)
