Sri lanka News – A guidance peg announced by Sri Lanka’s central bank for interbank transactions was steady at 359.79 against the US dollar unchanged from a day earlier.

On July 04, the guidance peg rate dropped 24 cents to 359.79 against the US dollar.

Sri Lanka commercial banks offered dollars for telegraphic transfers at rates between 366.79 and 370.00 for small transactions on July 05, unchanged from the previous day.

In the bond markets only one maturity was quoted.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2025 was quoted at 24.75/25.00 percent on Tuesday, down from 25.00/25.10 percent on Monday. (Colombo/July 05/2022)
