Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka’s three-month Treasury bill yields rose 312 basis points to 23.85 percent at Wednesday’s auction while maturies across board saw the yields shooting up, data from the state debt office showed.

The debt office sold 39.33 billion rupees of 3-month bills after offering 37.5 billion.

The 6-month bill up 250 basis points to 24.40 percent with 18.65 billion rupees of bills sold after offering 20 billion.

The 12-month yield rose 180 basis points with 13.17 billion rupees of bills sold.

The debt office sold only 71.169 billion rupees after offering 77.5 billion rupees of bills. (Colombo/June29/2022)
