Sri lanka News – Sri Lanka stocks moved up marginally on Thursday (23), pushed by Expolanka shares following its 8 rupee cash dividend announcement in the previous day, Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.

The main index All Share Price Index gained 0.43 percent or 32.63 points to 7,544.78 at 1130 hours.

An analyst said the market was kept up mainly by Expolanka shares following its 8.19 rupee dividend for the year ending March 2023.

The liquid index S&P SL20 up 0.75 percent or 18.03 points to 2,427.84.

Market generated a turnover of 482 million rupees.

Top gainers were Expolanka, Browns Investment and Hatton National Bank. (Colombo/June23/2022)
