Unloading petrol begins! | Breaking News

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation said that unloading of the stock of petrol commenced today after the payment for the shipment was made.

According to CPC Chairman Sumith Wijesinghe, the shipment is carrying 37,000 metric tons of petrol.

Meanwhile, the unloading of petrol ordered by Lanka IOC had commenced last night (19), he said.

He assured that the distribution of CPC petrol would commence soon.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the unloading of diesel on the diesel ship that arrived in Sri Lanka has been completed and the distribution of diesel will continue without hindrance.

However, long queues were seen at filling stations to obtain fuel, including petrol.

Many filling stations did not issue petrol over the past several days.
