MPs' vehicles refueled at Narahenpita | Breaking News

It is reported that steps have been taken to supply fuel for the vehicles of Parliamentarians from the Narahenpita petrol station in the Police Transport Division.

It is said that the MP should be in the vehicle when refuelling at the petrol station and should be done only as cash payments and not as credit.

The fuel will be provided for a week from Tuesday (17) and the measure was taken after the Speaker had requested the IGP to provide fuel on the same day.

A document with the name of the MP and the signature of the driver has also been prepared to confirm that the fuel has been obtained.

It is said that the fuel for this will be released from the CPC to the aforementioned fuel station and the MPs’ vehicles are to be refueled under the supervision of an CPC official.
