The postmortem inquiry into the death of Parliamentarian Amarakeerthi Athukorala has revealed that the death was caused due to haemorrhage resulted from multiple fractures due to severe blows.
Consultant Judicial Medical Officer of the Wathupitiwala Hospital, who conducted the postmortem inquiry, said in his report that the parliamentarian had multiple fractures on his body.
The JMO ruled out that the MP did not commit suicide. The Parliamentarian found dead in Nittambuwa on May 9 amid violent situation engulfed the country. (S.U.W.K. Jayawardane)
