The Central Province (CP) Governor, Lalith U. Gamage said that a decision was made not to conduct schools in the Central Province today (12).
He said it is due to the re-imposition of the police curfew at 2.00 pm today.
He said teachers and schoolchildren have no time to come to schools due to dearth of public transport. The decision to conduct schools tomorrow will be based on the government's ruling to impose the police curfew, the Governor added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
