Technical breakdown in Norochcholai power plant The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has informed of a technical breakdown in one of the 270MW power plants in Norochcholai.
Power and energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said repair work has commenced and assured that the functionalities will be restored within five days and manage the power cuts without further extensions by using thermal and hydro plants. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
