No trains until Monday morning: Railways Dept. | Sri Lanka News


The Sri Lanka Railway Department has announced that there will be no passenger trains until 4.00 am on Monday morning following the imposition of countrywide police curfew.

In a special communiqué, the department said that special train services will operate to transport essential goods, fuel and other essential goods during the curfew.

However, the passenger trains – except for the night mail train – will run this evening as per schedule and will reach their destinations at the given times. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
