Sri Lanka Police Special Task Forces’ SWAT teams have been praised by Dubai SWAT’s Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2022, organized by Dubai Police.
Sri Lanka took part in the UAE SWAT Challenge for the first time.
Two SWAT teams led by ASP Keshara Ratnaweera represented Sri Lanka at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2022, where forty-one highly-trained teams from 24 countries testes their tactical and weapon skills at Al Rowaiyah Training City in Dubai.
