Dr. Asela Gunawardena, Director General of Health Services, says that if the immunization of those who received the booster vaccine or the third dose in Sri Lanka reaches the desired level, the country will be fully open to hold ceremonies and the face mask requirement could be lifted.
He said that various requests were received seeking permission to hold festivals and musical performances.
The Director General of Health Services also said that if all the imported vaccines are administered to the public and their immunity reaches the desired level, there is a possibility of relaxing the health regulations considering those requests.
