The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to extend the closing date of accepting online applications for university admission, UGC Chairman Sampath Amarathunga said.
He told the Daily Mirror that the decision has been made to extend the online registrations until December 16.
He said focusing on difficulties faced by the students due to COVID pandemic and recent power cuts.
Extending the date will help the students who were unable to submit their applications.
The university entrance is a huge leap and very important event of their life and that should be done correctly.
