Only parliamentarians representing the Sri Lanka People’s Front are scheduled to hold a special discussion with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (04).

Only parliamentarians representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna are scheduled to hold a special discussion with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (04).

The meeting is scheduled to take place at Temple Trees at 06.00 pm today.

This is the first time since the formation of the government that MPs representing the SLPP have held a discussion with the Prime Minister.

Accordingly, it is reported that neither the main allied parties representing the government nor the Sri Lanka Freedom Party nor anyone including Wimal Weerawansa, Vasudeva Nanayakkara and Udaya Gammanpila have been invited to this discussion.
