There are allegations over social media that SLPP-MP Tissa Kuttiarachchi had levelled verbal sexual abuse at a female parliamentarian.
He had allegedly verbally abused the wife of Samagi Jana Balawegaya leader Sajith Premadasa and MP Rohini Kaviratne by using insinuating language during the budget debate.
Journalist Manjula Basnayake has placed a post on his Twitter account that many females had listened to the 2022 budget debate and that MP Tissa Kuttiarachchi’s speech where he had committed verbal sexual harassment against a female MP was the worst part of the budget he had heard.
