The 40km stretch of the Central Expressway from Mirigama to Kurunegala is to be opened for the public on Nov. 28.
According to the Road Development Authority, the stretch will be vested with the public at a ceremony held under the auspices of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The stretch will have 5 exits at Meerigama, Nakalagamuwa, Dambokka, Kurunegala and Yaggapitiya, reports say.
