No fuel scarcity in the country: CPSTL Chairman | Sri Lanka News

Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Ltd (CPSTL) Chairman M. Uvais Mohamed requested motorists not to panic to fill their vehicle tanks by waiting in long queues at filling stations.

While addressing the media, he said the CPSTL has ample fuel in hand to manage the situation for approximately a month.

We hold stocks of diesel and petrol for a maximum of ten days. Two fuel shipments are to arrive within this week.

There is no fuel shortage in the country, and therefore, there is no need to panic over refuelling causing congestions at filling stations, Mr. Uvais assured. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
