The written test for obtaining a driver’s license is scheduled to be held under the supervision of the Examinations Department from next year onwards.
A spokesman for the Department of Motor Traffic stated that the Department of Examinations has been requested to implement it in this matter.
This decision has been reached considering the large number of candidates applying for driving licenses after appearing for the GCE Advanced Level Examination as well.
Accordingly, applicants will be given the opportunity to appear for the written test for obtaining a driver’s license in their area of residence.
