Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akthar was unhappy about the decision to award David Warner the Man of the series title. Instead he preferred it to be given to Pakistan captain Babar Azam who was the highest scorer of the tournament.
Babar Azam’s 2021 World Cup campaign was similar or slightly better than Virat Kohli’s 2016 MVP campaign in terms numbers but Babar Azam missed out this year.
