Intermittent showers are expected in the Sabaragamuwa, North Western, Central and Northern provinces, the Met Department said.
The Department also warns that there will be several spells of showers in the Western Province as well as in the Galle and Matara districts. The Department also states that there will be more showers experienced in the North-Central Province as well.
Showers or thundershowers could be experienced during the evening or night in a few places in the Uva Province and in the Ampara and Batticaloa districts.
The Met Department also said that occasional gusts of 40-50 km/h could be experienced across the country.
