It is reported that a special cabinet meeting regarding the budget will be held on the 12th.
Due to this special cabinet meeting, the cabinet meeting scheduled to be held yesterday (08) was not held.
The Cabinet Office had informed all the Cabinet Ministers in this regard.
The budget will be read in Parliament on the 12th at 1.30 pm by Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa and his budget speech is scheduled to be telecast live on Rupavahini.
