Power supply has been disrupted in several areas due to inclement weather.
Speaking to NewsRadio, Media Director of the Ministry of Power Sulakshana Jayawardena said around 220,000 consumers are without electricity from morning.
He said power cuts have been reported from the Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and Eastern Provinces.
Sulakshana Jayawardena noted that necessary steps have been taken to restore the power supply promptly.
