The Prime Minister has decided to hold a crucial discussion on the current crisis within the government where the government is being severely criticized by leading party leaders affiliated to the government.

It is said that the Prime Minister had taken this decision after a secret discussion was held at Temple Trees on Wednesday night.

It is reported that Minister Wimal Weerawansa and Minister Ali Sabri had also joined this secret discussion.

However, Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara and Communist Party leader Dew Gunasekera also sharply criticized the government this week.

Vasu had said in a YouTube discussion that he would have to resign as he could no longer remain in this government.

Dew Gunasekera had told the media that this was an idiotic government.

In the first round, the Prime Minister will be joined by only a few key party leaders, and in the second round, it has been decided to include the President, the Prime Minister, the leaders of the partner parties and the Minister of Finance, Basil Rajapaksa.
