Swiss Airlines returns to Sri Lanka | Breaking News

Switzerland’s Swiss International Airlines arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake this morning (05) for the first time since 2019.

The WK-64 flight from Zurich, Switzerland landed on the island, carrying 96 foreign tourists and 12 crew members, including the pilot.

Swiss International Airlines will operate direct flights between Zurich and Katunayake airports once a week, every Friday, commencing from today.

A ceremony was also organized at the Katunayake Airport to welcome the aircraft and its passengers.
