Former Executive Director of the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) – Thushan Gunawardena has claimed that the Sathosa is entirely run by the family of Trade minister — Bandula Gunawardena.
Speaking during an interview on the Youtube Channel ‘Truth With Chamuditha’, he had said that even the decisions on pricing goods at Sathosa are being taken by the minister’s private staff and family members.
Noting that the infamous ‘Garlic scam’ has now been swept under the rug and its documents hidden, these people have even scammed goods such as flour, Orid and dhal from Sathosa.
